Biography
Emma Barnes is passionate about storytelling and communicating effectively to target audiences.
In her role as Researcher, she supports the York Park Group team to deliver a range of activities including research and analysis, media and social media, and content. She also helps coordinate the Australian Political Book of the Year Award program, which York Park Group co-sponsors.
Emma’s experience includes time in corporate communications agencies, alongside extensive experience in the performing arts. She is a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, has worked in Los Angeles and New York as an actor, and was previously Assistant Producer at the Darlinghurst Theatre Company.
Emma has a degree in Media, Communications and Public Relations from Macquarie University.
