Biography
Sean Sammon has 15 years’ experience working in communications and government relations as a political and strategic communications practitioner. He is an advocacy and issues management specialist who has helped politicians, governments and corporations achieve their objectives and manage issues in challenging environments.
Sean has been a political advisor, run a government relations arm of a global communications business, a marketing business specialising in WeChat and founded York Park Group. He has also served as a non-executive director on a State Government Board and is currently on the Board of The Parenthood, an advocacy body for parents and children.
Sean takes a relationship-centric approach to problem solving and reputation management. He seeks to understand the client environment, the social and political landscape and stakeholder sentiment and motivations. This detailed approach to understanding and managing stakeholders has helped clients successfully manage responses to government legislation and regulatory change, community-led campaigns and new commercial ventures.
