It’s an exciting time as York Park Group continues to grow with the hiring of Emma Barnes and Jacob Hopgood.

Emma Barnes joins York Park Group with extensive experience in the performing arts. She worked in Los Angeles and New York as an actor and was previously Assistant Producer at the Darlinghurst Theatre Company.  Emma is a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and has a degree in Media, Communications and Public Relations.

Jacob Hopgood is an economist with experience working across government, most recently completing projects for IP Australia and as Assistant Economist at the UK Intellectual Property Office. At the UKIPO, he completed analysis of IP chapters of UK trade deals and research into innovation.  Prior to this, he led business support operations throughout the pandemic in a large regional council.

At York Park Group, Emma will support the team to deliver research and analysis, social media and will lead coordination of the Australian Political Book of the Year. Jacob will support on research, policy analysis and submission writing, and media and government monitoring.
